Pervasive computing is currently becoming an important trend of the development of computing technology. In pervasive computing environments, all kinds of application systems need to integrate services provided by different types of devices. However, these devices vary greatly from types, structures, use patterns and management tools, which make them very difficult to collaborate with each other. The main purpose of this paper is to create a semantic service-based framework for pervasive device collaboration. Based on the SOA framework, we research pervasive device collaboration by the perspective of device services and add the semantic description of device services, in order to provide basic services for the top applications and facilitate the interoperability between devices. The main contributions of this paper are as follows:1) Extending the SOA architecture to the device layer, to achieve the pervasive device services. Provoding the run-time protection for the realization of the initiative of the device service collaboration;2) Adding the semantic description of the devices. Building an ontology for the devices. Promoting the collaboration, the reuse and the unified management of device services;3) Establishing a semantic service-based framework "ScudDevice" for pervasive device collaboration, which facilitate the top application development in pervasive computing.
