This topic will study on Plant Management Information System based on theoretical guidance of IRP.Scientific management of plant is a pivotal factor in the success of manufacturing enterprises.How to strengthen plant management and enhance enterprises'core competitiveness, has become a common concern for enterprises. With the development of information technology,the demand for Management Information System is increasing. Considering the characteristics of management and the existing problems in pvc profile manufacturing enterprises, this thesis proposes building PMIS to optimize allocation of plant, improving plant management system and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.Considering the problems that exist in the establishment in traditional information systems, this thesis introduces Information Resource Planning theory, proposes that PMIS should be established under the environment of Strategic Data-Planning. Firstly this thesis will introduce the theories of plant management and Information Resource Planning. Secondly, this thesis analyzes the process and characteristics of plant management in pvc profile manufacturing enterprises, studies current situation and problems, and indicates the necessity of establishing PMIS. Based on IRP .This thesis studies the modeling of PMIS in pvc profile manufacturing enterprises which includes Process Modeling, Function Modeling, Data Modeling and Architecture Modeling. Based on the research, Subject Database for pvc profile manufacturing enterprises is designed appropriately.Then this thesis establishes the plant information classification stardard system based on the theory of information resource management of IRP.Lastly, research and design the classification coding of spare parts, which is basic information of spare sparts management, and make spare parts classification coding system by VB.This thesis provides a reference model for the construction of PMIS in pvc profile manufacturing enterprises .The model optimizes the management system and realizes information sharing among different MIS in pvc profile management enterprises .Data sharing is achieved by means of the construction of Subject Database which provides a better information platform for plant management in pvc profile manufacturing enterprises.
