LED display has already been widely used in all walks of life.But the display performance of LED has been affected not only by the inconsistency of Luma and chroma but also the problem of gamut not mapping.So the inconsistent correction of LED display is necessary.This paper designs a point by point correction system of LED display based on the basic theory of color correction and gamut mapping.The problem has been come out in a wash very well by the correction system.This point by point correction system is composed of two parts: spectrophotometer and control device of LED display. The operational principle of the correction system and the structure composition of the control device based on the large-scale programmable logic device are expanded on in this paper.The bottom to top modular method makes brief of the design process and improves the flexibility of the correction system.The final results show that the Luma and chroma of the LED display had a better consistency after the correction system.The display performance and the visual effect have been substantially improved.
