Design And Realization Of Management System For Experimental Teaching Based On B/S Structure

With the quick development of the web technology, the experimental teaching and learning system base on network has been regarded by more and more universities. This change of teaching and learning method into network requires a new pattern of the management system in university's computer lab.At first, this dissertation presents the current development of computer assistant instruction (CAI) at home and abroad and the corresponding web technology, analyzes the application state of the computer labs in Chinese universities, then discusses the key techniques in the application of the Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML), and especially focuses on analyzing the objects of the key techniques in XMLHttpRequest. Based on these works, the Ajax technique is introduced, and the management system for the experimental teaching based on B/S structure is designed.The objective of this work is to solve some practical problems in the experimental teaching process of computer foundational courses, such as submitting and receiving homework via network, uploading and downloading exercise, online examination, catechism through telnet, booking experiment, leaving words in net which is based on Ajax technology, and so on.A digital signature technique is applied to process the submissions of examination paper in this dissertation. The objective of this work is to confirm the validity of the submission, so that the submission can not be canceled. The developed model of the Ajax is applied to process the leaving words in net, it means that the traditional synchronization requirement is changed into asynchronous requirement, and the delay from the client to the server is avoided, therefore it is possible to operate synchronously. It is not necessary to update entire web, only part of the data, during the submission. The burthen of server is reduced thereby, and the waiting period is shorted.Windows server 2003 is used as the plane of system prolongation, and XHTML+CSS+Javascript,ASP+PHP+SQL+Access are used as main tools. This system has been put into practice, and wins the favor of students and teachers.
