Virtual reality technology is one of the hot spots in computer technology, which is known as the best computer technology in prospects with Multi-media technology and network technology. With the development of computer technology and simulation of complex systems in-depth study, virtual reality technology has been widely used in many fields.At present the development of robot technology allows the robot's ability to continuously improve, its application and scope of the field is continuously expanding. It is hoped that a number of robots can complete the more difficult tasks completed difficultly by a single robot. These complex tasks require a number of robots to complete, which involves the problem of the cooperation between multi-robot movements. However, in the actual movement platform, to build the robot unit is relatively complex which requires high processing costs and development costs, so it is not very realistic to achieve multi-robot cooperative movement. In this paper, as to this problem, virtual reality technology will be applied to build and research the multi-robot movement simulation platform, which has a certain practical significance. It's a complex process to construct the virtual movement simulation platform, which needs to solve the problem of the interaction and cooperative movement in the three-dimensional scene and other issues. Based on the analysis of comparison of the mainstream development platforms, a new technique (using the 3DS MAX and Virtools as the development means) is selected whose core is Virtools technique. It will solve the problem this paper has met.With the Virtools as the development platform, it uses 3DS MAX to create the three-dimensional virtual movement scene and virtual movement units and uses Virtools programming module in the BB method to achieve multi-robot cooperative movement, real-time tracking and rounded up through human-computer interactive control. In the end the process will be showed in the form of three-dimensional animation.The platform of the multi-robot cooperative movement simulation constructed in the paper has the capacity of human-computer interaction, the three-dimensional perspective and realistic scenes which demos the entire movement process completely, tests the effectiveness of the movement platform effectively, saves a great deal of human and material resources. At the same time, it is helpful in the exploration of applying the virtual reality technology to the simulation in the future.
