In recent years, more and more people are demanded to grasp driving efficiency with the development of automobile industry and the improvement of the people's livelihood. However, the method of traditional driving training doesn't fit for training a hand of nonprofessional drivers at one time that is shown important in regarding time and efficiency. It's hard to be widely applied for the automobile driving simulated system studied at present, just for large scale, high price or incomplete functions. Therefore, studying and implementing the automobile driving simulated system on microcomputer have great social functions and its economical benefits are significant.The paper focuses on the implement of the automobile driving simulated system on microcomputer based on VIRTOOLS. First, the concepts and characteristics of virtual reality, driving simulation, the background and history of the research are introduced. By reviewing the present research, the paper analyzes the existing problems, and gives the methods to solve these problems. Second, the design plan and system structure are put forward, of which the function of every parts in the system have been described in detail. The algorithms of modeling and optimizing are introduced, by which the system can not only guarantee the real time and authenticity simulation, but also give consideration to the hardware treatment ability. The paper introduces a simplified motion model to simulate the vehicle's fundamental motion. Meanwhile, the control and management of vehicle driving and driver manipulation are considered and discussed. If the driving breaks rules and regulations or the driver makes a mistake, the system will judge and estimate in time. Finally, multi-channel rendering and displaying disposal are used to simulate several views of the automobile in the virtual environment, which can help the driver has the true driving feel.
