With developing towards high pressure , high velocity and large horsepower of hydraulic system have become system , the pressure fluctuation and noise of hydraulic system have become major problems which encumber the development and need to be solved urgently. Using low fluctuation pump with hydraulic filter is one of the most effective approaches to absorb pressure fluctuation as well as lessen vibration and noise of hydraulic , H type filter are widely used for their simple structure , light pressure loss and excellent filtering effect.In the paper , with the method of system impedance analysis and a lot of experiment, H Type Filter is studied carefully . It shows that, the filtering characters of H type filter can not be depicted completely by traditional theory ,first . there should be some restraint condition for the traditional formula; second , H Type Filter can not only appear better filtering performance at it's resonance frequency , but also reduce fluctuation significantly in low impedance area , which is produced by installing the hydraulic system with a H Type Filter ; last , the relationships between the effects of H Type Filter and it's volume are nonlinear , on the condition of a small volume ,if the other parameters match well, the fluctuation of pump supply well also be reduced notably due to the emergence of low impedance area.Moreover , on the basis of above theoretical analysis and experimental investigation ,the designing criterions of low fluctuation pump with H Type Filter is put forward in this paper.
