Study And Development Of Vibration System For Portable Braking Performance Tester

Portable braking performance tester is an intelligence instrument to detect the braking performance for vehicle. Portable braking performance tester has advantages of intelligence, simple operation and high accuracy, so it is being used by more and more people. In order to insure and improve the quality of portable braking performance tester for vehicle, it was supposed to be calibrated before the use of it. According to the calibration of portable braking performance tester, the calibration system,which is specialized in calibrating and testing portable braking performance tester, was developed.The main work of the thesis includes:1,Through analyzing the composition and principle of portable braking performance tester, the stepping turnover calibration device to calibrate the portable braking performance tester is designed and made.2,To control stepping motor with a motion control card based on FPGA,and make turnover device running.3,Rotary angle and time was measured with angle sensor ;The measuring data was transferred into the acceleration of gravity at different time point; A set of data ,which is corresponding to the measurement results of portable braking performance tester ,was calculated as standard value; At the same time, the process was measured by portable braking performance tester, which has a set of data; The set of data was compared with standard value to achieve the goal of calibrating portable braking performance testers.4,To test the calibration device of portable braking performance tester and evaluate the evaluation uncertainty of calibration system.5,In the design of hardware, it adopted the modularization method which makes the device very small and light, high anti-vibration capability, easily installed and taken down.6,The software was developed by Visual Basic 6.0, Excel VBA and MATLAB, which have high versatility, adaptability and extension.The test result has proved that the calibration system has advantages of simple operation and high reliability; A new way of calibrating portable braking performance testers is put forward; In accordance with the 2.0 accuracy degree of portable braking performance tester, the system which degree of accuracy is 0.6% meets the requirement of calibration and has some practical value.
