The welding positioner is needed when we are doing welding work about complex work in many factories and enterprises, thus, it has practical application significance to research high power, reliable and easy operation welding positioner.Because of bogies'quality is asymmetric, the load of the two raise or decline motors seriously loses balance, thus, it will produce a problem that raise or decline speed is not synchronized, this paper discusses the problem for railway factories 20 ton bogies welding positioner. By analyzing the encountered problem of prophase development bogies welding positioner when applied in scene, this paper analyzes and compares to many kinds of improvement methods, and puts forward a kind of method that adopts transducer, plc and displacements sensor compose of speed closed loop control, and designs and implements of electronic control system's hardware design, implement and part of the monitoring software.In order to realize controlling the bogie welding positioner by people completely and accomplish the assignment of fixing, debugging and running the variable-bit by working in a work field, the hardware circuit of design of the economic controlling system to the bogie welding positioner include:1. Stopping and indication circuit. Realizing stopping, alarm and run indication of the variable-bit.2. Running control circuit. Realize rising in-phase and rotate vertically in the running time.3. Adjusting control circuit. Using in the debugging time, and it can finish the fixed-point operation of single electric machine.4. Outside control circuit of transducer and the main circuit of electric machine. Realize to drive the electric machine.5. External circuit of Programmable Logic Controller. Realize the relay control of the system and timing feedback speed.The part of software design is composed of program of controlling and PC configuration mostly. It completes closed loop PID control of bogie and displays its estate.The laboratory functional test could show that: this design can satisfy many kinds of functional requirements to make on-site. This subject completely comes from actual production, and it was designed according to the principle of satisfy demand for on-site, easy operation, reliable operation and low cost, and this is also a characteristic of this paper. This electronic control system has passed business review, now it is in the process of installing and debugging.
