Research On The Solution Of Personal Health Information Sharing Based On PIX And XDS

The construction of regional health information sharing is a very important issue in regional health information at present. It is needful and inevitable trend of Chinese health service development to build the national health information sharing platform, which will improve our overall health care quality and reduce medical costs.It is needed to establish the national health information sharing platform based on Patient Identifier Cross-referencing Integration Profile (PIX) and Cross Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS), so as to integrate and share health data cross-platform and cross-system, because it's difficult to use a unified software product to restrict each health service institutions in the health information sharing construction. Therefore, a solution of personal health information sharing based on PIX and XDS was designed in this paper.First, the general framework of personal health information sharing platform was studied, the infrastructure, function architecture and service architecture of personal health information sharing platform were studied particularly. Second, personal identification and identification technologies were investigated, which was the foundation of personal health information sharing construction. Based on comparison and analysis of all kind of personal identification and identification technologies, particularly the identifier match and merger methods at home and abroad, a solution of personal identification and identificationtechnologies--cross domain MPI interoperability based on IHE PIXwas put forward according to our national conditions, which was suitable for our national personal health information sharing construction. And then, two types of medical document sharing models, that's RID and XDS, were compared and analysed. Finally, this paper pointed out that XDS was the cross enterprise clinical document sharing model which should be applied to our national health information sharing construction. Based on the study mentioned above, the paper put forward the solution of personal health information sharing based on PIX and XDS. The data storage and workflow of personal health information sharing, the creation of information model of registry center, the requirements and functions of PIX system and XDS system were investigated. And it described an example of personal health information sharing in order to show an over view of personal health information sharing in clinical affinity domain. Finally, the paper summarized the shortcomings of the solution, and the improvement measures were proposed.
