| In the age of the widely use of network and the information exploding, network security has become the key point increasingly. With the improvement of the attacking means and the increase of the network bandwidth, traditional firewalls have difficulty in detecting and protecting against all kinds of dangerous data in current networking environment.Based on the analysis of various of network security technologies, a new security gateway using multi-core processor is researched, and the core module of the gateway is designed and implemented. The security gateway can process the network data packets in a high efficiency so as to adapt the complex networking environment.The thesis will analyze the current situation of network security firstly, and introduce some key technologies, leading to the security gateway technology. After this, the core technology of gateway will be explained in details. In the third part, the total design and key points of the gateway will be discussed, as well as the key modules. At the end of the thesis, how to improve the security gateway will be given. |
