Design And Implementation Of Bank Outlets Arrangement Optimization

At present banks need give high priority of how to optimize their outlets arrangement and enables reposition of bank outlets sources. Based on consideration of different complicated factors e.g. geography , vital statistics, population density, trade history, potential demands, marketing sales , user loyalty etc, taking the advantage of IBM/ESRI GIS solution together with statistics and utilization tools, this thesis designs and realizes optimization system of bank outlets arrangement.Branch Reconfiguration System provides reasonable systemized solution about bank outlets arrangement in cities and districts for decision maker. It consists of rebuilding classification of current outlets (upgrading, degrading, increasing service capability, adding self-help equipments or E-channel, relocation, combination etc.) and investment plan of building new bank outlets in emerging market(new outlets location, type, number of counters etc.). This system is an organic combination of science concept, advantaged method and practical toolMain achievements of this thesis are as below:First, introduces sciences concept, implementer method and key technology of bank outlets arrangement optimization. And together with customers makes systematical and comprehensive analysis of demanding. After, adequate communication accurately grasps characteristics of bank process module and requirements. Then, describes how to perform the system including frame design, database design, functional flow and package structure design, cases analysis etc. It combines with bank operational characteristics, designs and implementation the main function for this Branch Reconfiguration System. Last, made system test, generated test report also executed analysis.The first installment pilot work of Branch Reconfiguration System has been done in Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Suzhou Branch which gained impressive result. Currently pilot project has been promoted in larger area and the second installment work in Suzhou branch has been launched.
