Abstract/Summary:
With the customer's demand of voice quality, the original vp101 chip has been unable to meet customer's demand. The AC483 chip of AudioCodes Company is a good choice because it can support a wide range of standard compression algorithm and four codes at the same time. The chip has some function such as real-time voice compression, echo cancel, signal detection and so on. In addition, it has a simple interface so it is very convenient to operate, configure and debug.This driver is developed on the base of the original structure of vp101 driver, the routine codes provided by AudioCodes Company and some codes left by our predecessors. In the course of development, the main methods used are practice and debug. The driver's stability, compatibility and resistance are improved by using these methods. The driver's functions are expanded through reading the manual and related documents. Transplantation is needed if necessary.The driver runs steadily in the series of voice gateways which communicate with vp101 or other devices running under different routine of protocols such as H323, SIP, and MEGACO and so on. It has been mass-produced. The driver which is transplanted can complete basic function of voice communication.
