Upgrade And Improvement Of Electronic Maintenance Information Platform Of Guangdong Mobile Company

With the background of upgrading and improving of electronic maintenance information platform (eMiP) of Guangdong mobile company, after analyzing the system architecture and functions of current eMip based on author's practical work, this paper discovers three problems of current eMiP, they are inflexibility of reacting the variable business requirements, customization of portal and defects in performance, functionality and reliability of business process subsystem.As to the inflexibility of reacting the variable business requirements, this paper introduces the concept of SOA in order to keep the possibility of eMiP's continuously improving and meet the business requirements in several years. This paper also selects the new portal product and workflow product after comparing and analyzing. According to the new products, improvements of system architecture, network architecture and host architecture are proposed. Finally, with the guidance of SOA methodology, this paper redesigns some workflow in order to prepare for completely introducing SOA next stage.This paper summarizes the proposal of eMip's upgrade and improvement and carries out the defects of this proposal and future works for providing reference to next upgrade.
