EGPRS Wireless Network Resources Optimization Strategys Research

As the development of information society, the simple voice communication has been unable to meet the basic needs of users, the operators need to upgrade their 2-generation mobile telecommunications network to meet the growing demand for data services. China Mobile will continue upgrading GPRS networks to EGPRS, aimed at reducing the gap with wired communications on bandwidth and rate. GPRS uses the packet switching mode in the GSM system for the integration between wireless communications and data network. EGPRS upgrade the bandwidth and rate by changing the modulation mode based on GPRS network.This paper mainly introduces EGPRS communication system in theory, expounded the related concept of wireless communication network optimization, mainly focus on EGPRS wireless network optimization methods and strategies, and the optimization tools, also introduces the optimization work and the effect in Xinyang EGPRS network.In this paper, also show a set applicable methods based on characteristics of EGPRS wireless network, ant these methods are implemented and verificated in the real network, the results show that these optimization methods are very good Practicability to enhance the EGPRS network performance.This paper is divided into five chapters, Chapter 1 mainly introduces the EGPRS key technologies and the concept of wireless network optimization. Chapter II introduces the EGPRS wireless network optimization in details, and analyzes several optimization strategies. Chapter III introduces several tools used in the procedure of EGPRS wireless network optimization. Chapter IV introduces the situation of optimization methods verifized in Xinyang mobile. Chapter V makes the summary of wireless network optimization strategys.
