Studying Of EGPRS Network Optimization Based On Resource Configuration

GSM is the most popular one of 2G technology as well as the EGPRS(Enhanced General Packet Radio Service) is one important technology which is helpful to the revolution of transition from GSM to 3G. So EGPRS is becoming more and more attractive to network operators. This document's essential is oriented from actual technology improvement project's requisition. It will be very useful for the operators to improve the performance and QOS(Quality Of Service) of the radio network.Based on deeply researching the difference between EGPRS's basic theory and existing GPRS network, this document outstandingly descript the method of EGPRS radio resource planning. With a planning project in a district as example and actual network testing result, it analyses the revolution of GSM's network architecture and all elements, and show how to implement the EGPRS radio resource optimization blueprint. This document also gives the result of actual network optimization, which indicates that the blueprint is successful.The author(me) is manager of the example project mentioned above, and is responsible for blueprint designing,project scheduling and effect validating. The blueprint descript in this document had been adopted by operator and take part in the resource optimization's schedule.
