Analysis And Implementation Of Mobile Network Performance Analysis System

Network quality has become one of core competitiveness, while telecom operator markets are becoming increasingly competitive. It is a paramount factor in network operation and maintenance support capabilities that ameliorating network performance quality through construction of network operation support system. As the most intense telecom service market, mobile communication businesses have relative high level requirement over mobile network operation and maintenance. This paper aims at designing and implementing mobile communication network performance analysis system. It provides operation analysis and decision support for telecom operators in terms of analyzing key mobile network performance instructions and trends, reasons causing network exceptions, impact of business development on network resources.In the first place, this article determines necessary needs of performance management in mobile network operating maintenance, and describes performance instruction system in details. In the second place, performance analysis needs on MSC, BSC, and HLR are discussed. Based on this, overall design of performance analysis is proposed, including system architecture, system data flow, etc. The most critical sub-systems in performance analysis are report management and OLAP data analysis, which are elaborated in this dissertation.According to the demands of mobile network operation management, mobile network performance analysis system is designed and implemented. Moreover, an applicable tool kit for mobile network operation is developed, which improves mobile network operation level. The proposed performance analysis system can be used for reference while building operation systems for other operators as well.
