Design And Application Of "Intelligent Control Eyes" System In Shanxi Railcom

With the development of network technology, codec technology, storage technology, video monitoring has a good prospect of application and extension. Video monitoring is not limited to safety precautions, but it has became the important monitoring tools and managerial resources in business enterprises, schools, transport, security, finance, public security and other department. It also has great potential for marketing. When the operators of telecommunications services change from the simple telecommunication carrier to the comprehensive information service providers, video surveillance has already begun to show a strong vitality. Video surveillance networks, which are scale operations, provide tremendous business opportunities for telecommunication carrier.In this paper, the author research and design the network structures, function modules, and software architecture of video surveillance (Shanxi Railcom "intelligent control eye" system). At the same time, "intelligent control eye" system in Shanxi Province got the goal of practical application and achieved good economic and social effectiveness. The main contents are summarized in the following words:1. At first, the author describes the development of business background, operational definition of video surveillance. On the other hand, the author expounded the background of video surveillance project which was carried out by Shanxi Railcom.2. The author explains the business related concepts and technologies of video surveillance. In this way, this paper provides a theoretical foundation for the design;3. Based on the current developments of the video surveillance, the author analysis the business needs, which include business descriptions, business competitive analysis, business functional analysis, business types, business processes, business fees, etc;4. Combined with the user's actual situation of Shanxi Province, the author completed the design of intelligent control eye's platform and designed the software architecture of monitoring points;5. In practice, Shanxi Railcom "intelligent control eyes" was applied effectively.
