This thesis is focused on the information processing technology of material yard used in metallurgy enterprises. Combining with image processing and database technology, design and imply a new intelligent material yard digital information processing system.Based on the specialty of material yard system, construct a distributed information system using services oriented architecture whose core is the material database. In this way, the security, reliability, expansibility and maintainability is improved.Using safe, reliable efficient SQL Server and its business intelligence module as database system management and developing environment, the complexity of developing and maintaining is reduced by its abundant feathers. The data collecting system uses locomotive scan pattern, and have functions of continuum running, automatic joint. In the dataflow processing, use a real-time data collecting, then database temporary storing, and then asynchronous processing way which ensured the accuracy and stability of processing. The material storage data is stored in the muti-dimension dataset to increase the query efficiency. Reports are created dynamically by Reporting Services, so that the development and customer extension is very convenient. The reporting services provide network browsing and output of all formats, sanctify the massive visits. The notice-order function is develop on Notification Services, increased the usability of the system.The field running shows that material yard information system is very fast, exact and efficient, and convenient for material yard management.
