Accompanied by the commercial waves of the globalizationand integration of the economy, tremendous industry revolution has takenplace over the world. How to develop the animation industry withChinese characteristics in this new intellectual economical wave has beenresulted in extended discussions.Main aim of my item is to make a program of MAYA character.This item's main function is fastly to build a complete set of skeleton orientational system,that adjusts to all kinds of human or quadruped.This program is effect that making character animation.This program bases on MAYA's Animation Trax editer,Inverse kinematics(IK),strongly function of character connecting skin,advanced deformer.It combines mainstream making method.And is made with MAYA's mel program language and opened interface.My thesis's main content is included:(1). It includes joint's build and modify,skeleton's build,and involved mel commands.(2). Forword kinematics(FK) and Inverse kinematics(IK) is very important to making charater animation.My item is combined with the two dynamics theories to make a character with two skeleton systems.(3). These MAYA character's important concept include forword kinematics(FK),Inverse kinematics(IK),Ikhandle and Ikchain,conversion of IK and FK,IK plain handle and IK chain handle,and so on.(4). The route of designing skeleton systems is:Base on the imported skeleton model,the skeleton nodes name make sure the joint.And find the program with the name.The program establishs the joints'scale,movement,rotation,and relations with other joints.This item applies on production of charater animation.And mostly applies on body and quadruped charater animation.The mel program will help animation designer to establish a skeleton system very quickly,and reduce much work time to make the same work.The animation designers will more time to design the actions.
