Nowadays, many Colleges use the IC card in the management of the computer rooms, in few of which the contact IC card is used. As we know, the contact IC card is not better than the contactless one in terms of reliability, manipulation, security, high anti-jamming and working distance, so a lot of contact IC cards have been replaced by the contactless one.Through the investigation, we find that the basic work pattern in the computer room management system of the IC card is that an IC card reader terminal and a monitoring machine are equipped in every computer room. The IC card reader terminal, which is only an ordinary reader, is responsible for reading the information in the card and transferring the information in the IC card through the communication ways such as the serial port to the monitoring computer. There is no information storage function in the card reader terminal itself, The actual charging management is entirely controlled by the monitoring computer, which transmits the credit card information to the central server in set time or real-time. Since the whole system need to occupy one computer which finishes the process of information transmission and charging, it does not only waste the resources but also increases security risks. In this mode, there will be some problems and loopholes:1) UnreliabilitySince the card reader equipment and monitoring of information transmission between computers is only a temporary stored in the computer monitor, if monitoring by virus attack or computer hardware failures occur, there will be irreparable consequences. And as a result of student information stored in the computer monitor, so there is a man-made forgery, tampering and acts of corruption risk.2) IC card characteristic has not embodied completely In addition to IC card logo identity, there are also electronic purse function, and can recharge their debit, but this method is basically used for IC identification ,Every time the actual charge is monitored by the central server computer and to complete the basic equipment has nothing to do with the card reader.3) Inconvenient for students and the management feesEvery time the machine must be connected by the monitoring center computer server-side, server-side by the Center for students to read out information, check, and charged to students the need for additional computer software to handle time and billing, are obviously more cumbersome.In light of the above issues, in order to improve the management efficiency of the computer room to reduce the intensity of work and the computer room in time to deal with failures, the use of room billing management system is imperative. If the card reader in the terminal equipment to complete the majority of billing functions, and increase the storage capabilities, so that could reduce the burden on the computer monitor, or even terminal equipment reader can communication directly with the central server. This will not only can increase the system reliability and security but also make full use of the IC card function, and reduces the calculation of the financial statistics and bring trouble.At present already applied in the computer room management solution mainly has 3 ways: Software and hardware union control mode, account number way and entrance guard way. In view of the design requirements, and taking into account the safe, reliable, simple and other factors, if combined with control software and hardware and put the more tasks to the reader terminal, for example, by the card reader terminal to store data, billing management, and if card reader terminal can achieve TCP / IP communications, so the task of monitoring the computer greatly reduced, or even directly from the card reader terminal and central server. This will reduce the number of unnecessary trouble and security risks, and the design is based on this work in this paper.The system requirements for a stable and reliable data transmission, real-time better, while taking into account such factors as cost-effective, considering the option of the C / OS-II operating system, as ported to ARM7 development platform. In this platform, taking into account the TCP / IP protocol stack with the hardware to be used to achieve the performance and cost. To solve this technical problem from the start, combined with the application of this thesis research object, decided to use embedded operating systems, such programs can be described as embedded TCP / IP protocol stack +micro-controller+ embedded operating system.The paper introduces a design plan of management terminal in the IC card computer room, which is based on ARM7. The system realizes the transplantation of the C/OS-Ⅱoperating system and embedding of the TCP/IP protocol stack, can read the IC card information correctly and communicate with the server through Ethernet or serial port directly, adds the SD Card storage function, fulfills charging operation and achieves the LCD function.Presenting a TCP/IP protocol stack and programming method and meanwhile also providing anticollision loop of multi-card operation, the paper makes a detailed introduction about hardware and software design of the management system terminal in the whole computer room and describes the detailed transplantation process of the embedding operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱin the ARM7 processor.Comparing to most current systems of computer room management, this system has the following characteristic:1) Using of embedded operating system C/OS-Ⅱ, the system improved real-time system and reaction time, task management and scheduling more convenient and effective.2) Reducing the work of the server-side pressure and security risk because of the billing operations by card reader terminal.3) Increasing of data storage capabilities and improving the reliability of the system are conducive to data queries and fault recovery.4) Increased to the invalid card, the logging out card and the money owed card judgment and processing, take the positive effective measure for illegal operation.5) Ethernet serial communication to overcome the past, the short transmission distance, such as the shortcomings of the slow transfer rate, making communication more convenient, efficient, and can be carried out long-distance transmission and control.
