Development And Application Of The Laboratory Information Management System For The Quality Inspection Institution

LIMS(Laboratory Information Management System) is an open distributed system, which combines all the factors that will affect the analysis of data , such as the operators, the equipment, samples, testing methods etc., surround the central laboratory, and utilizes the computer high-speed data processing technology, the automated instrumental analysis techniques, the standarized laboratory management theory . LIMS provides technical support for realizing the online scheduling of mission analysis , automatic collecting of analyzing data , rapid releasing, information sharing, paperless office working , improvement of the lab management . It's the information platform linking the administration sections , laboratories, and the clients , it plays a very important role in the improving the laboratory efficiency and reducing the operation cost. Moreover, the application of the LIMS that had been strictly attested, may guarantee the laboratory's quality system to operate normatively under rigorous control, thus causes the final products, i.e. examination data and examination report, of the quality testing organization can conform to the related quality specifications or standards.This thesis originates from the actually developoing laboratory information management system development program of the Guizhou Product Quality Inspection Institute, because the traditional manual work do not satisfy the requires of the development,the GPQII develops the laboratory information management system ,it utilizes the development platform of the laboratory information management system, constructs the database with Oracle , and the entire system structure is constituted of the configuration technology. With the system is working, it realize the laboratory information management and the information sharing of the quality inspection, and improve the management ability and the efficiency of samples.Main content of the thesis:①analyzing the world status quo of laboratory information management system, and the problems exist in the domestic system, discussing the concept of laboratory information management system, and the significance to the quality inspection institution.②analyzing the laboratory information management system be used in system development, researching the system structure and functions, providing both theoretical basis and technical support for the realization of the system.③analyzing the demands according the actual situation of the GPQII, completing the structure design and the database design of the laboratory information management system on the basis of the ideas and the process of the Software Engineering.④realizing the modules of the system on the basis of designing the sample modules in detail, and completing the functional testing.
