A coke oven represents a kind of controlled object with a full spectrum of closely coupled factors, such as distributed parameters, nonlinearity, time-dependent change and multi-variable features; among them, the pressure of gas collectors is the key parameters. The normal operations of coke ovens, such as opening their doors, closing their doors, pushing coke, coaling, smoothing coal, the change of coking time and heating rules, will cause changing of gas production of coke ovens and disturbing gas collector pressure. When the pressure of a gas collector changes, another one will also changes. Controlling the gas collector pressure in the proper range is a important technical measure of keeping safe manufacture, increasing the quantity and quality of coke, economizing energy source, protecting environment, prolonging the life of coke ovens. The multi gas collector pressure system of coke ovens is a complicated multivariable, nonlinear and time variant, strong external disturbances and complex coupling relations ones in the coke oven group. When several coke ovens are connected in parallel, there are many external disturbance factors, as well as complex coupling relations, so the discharge header pressure system of coke ovens is a complex multivariable control system and there is no mathematical model up to now. The above circumstances will create some difficulties for the design of a discharge header pressure of coke oven control system, whose difficulties make it hard to realize an accurate control.This paper introduces the engineering outline of"coke oven collector pressure control system of Wei-Fang ZhenXing coking factory"project. Firstly, making reference to all kinds of models of the collectors at home and abroad and analyzing the factors with influence the gas collector pressure, a new dynamic model based on physics concept strategies is established. Secondly, after comparing the difference of some kinds of decoupling control method, aiming at the feature of the coke oven pressure system and based on the coupling phenomena caused by the fluctuate between border upon collectors, a kind method of decoupling based on fuzzy technique is presented and used to control the system. Finally, the simulating models for gas collector pressure system and gas collector pressure control system is established under the condition of software MATLAB, which is very popular at home and abroad today. The rationality and validity of the established modeling and control method were tested by simulating results. It shows that the simulating effect is satisfactory.
