With the improvement of the information degree in the enterprise, a lot of heterogeneous database have been accumulated in many fields. In order to avoid repeated construction of the application system and waste of the data resource, it becomes very necessary to integrate these heterogeneous databases. With the development of the information network, the requirements about data interaction efficiency, balance of the system load and security of database accessing have been higher than before.Based on the agent technology and database integration technology, a agent-based heterogeneous database integration model is presented in this paper. Then research and solve key problems in the model including the model structure, designing of every agent, the collaboration mechanism among the agents, KQML-based agent communication language and the realization of connection pool. The data interaction efficiency, security of database accessing and balance of database system load have been improved in some degree in this model which make the data processing and data transmission be more intelligent and improve the adaptability of the system. The model is a four-layer structure which includes user layer, management layer, integration layer and data layer. With a lot of security database accessing technology, the model realizes security accessing controlling of the heterogeneous database integration system. This model has ability to interact with the environment, which embody the intelligent, initiative and open characteristic with the database integration technology.According to requirement analysis of the oil field drawing and document query system, simulation and experimental about agent-based oil field drawing and document query system have been implemented. Through testing and experiment, it compares the difference between agent-based heterogenous database integration system and the normal database integration system. |
