Manufacturing- Execution System Association (MES), is an operational systemapplied for monitoring manufacturing processes in workshops. As so far as today,this system has been successfully developing and applying in managing processindustry all over the world. However, it is in initial stages that MES is applied incases of discrete manufacture companies, especially those multiple typicalmedium-sized or small-sized discrete manufacture companies. Concerning the abovecircumstance, this work partly realized linking multiple Agent to MES system,combining the relevant techniques, function and database of each..Agent is independent and intelligent. Multiple Agent system is a systemcomposed of multiple Agents, each of which collaborates with the others to completecomplex work. The modularized Multiple Agent system is swifter, more reliable,flexible and embeddable.Through analysing the property, communication language and cooperation ofAgent and multi-Agent system, this work realized the function of modules of MESsystem and developed a new MES system, which was based on the intelligence ofAgent and the communication of multiple Agents.Then we built a database for thesystem via analyzing the workshop surroundings.
