Electro-hydraulic servo systems are widely used in high-precision, high-power control system. However, electro-hydraulic servo system is composed of precision machinery, hydraulic and electronic technologies. So the system's failure is complex. Once the system doesn't work, it is very difficult to finding the reasons of faults. Therefore, researching about the fault of Electro-hydraulic servo system is priorities in nowadays. The key on fault diagnosis of hydraulic servo is to have enough fault samples for the current sample due to fewer failures facts. In this paper completed hydraulic servo system simulation by hydraulic simulation software—AMEsim, especially for Standard model and fault samples of the hydraulic servo system. This paper have researched and completed the following achievements:1. Provides an overview of the situation of hydraulic control technology, software simulation technology and hydraulic development of fault diagnosis. Introduced the application of the hydraulic control system status and fault diagnosis. It illustrates the feasibility of faults diagnosis method based on fault diagnosis of hydraulic.2. Through using AMEsim to build the hydraulic servo system model. As taken Bottom-up approach to build the servo valve, servo system modeling .Then demonstrate the correctness of the model and use the servo-valve models to establish symmetry, differential position servo system simulation model, To lay a solid foundation to obtain failure samples.3. Describes the mechanism of hydraulic failure, an analysis of the complexity of hydraulic failure. Simulated the common failure of electro-hydraulic position servo system. obtain fault simulation curve samples of common fault of the servo valve. Through fault simulation systems revealed a state of failure, fault diagnosis for hydraulic system and provided reference.4. The results demonstrated the validity of simulation. It completed the servo valve's testing by use of valve test-bed in fluid transmission Laboratory of Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Then compared obtained samples with simulation results. Verified the feasibility of using the method of the of fault simulation. It provides a more convenient method to collecting samples of failures.
