Research And Design Of Cryptographic File System Based On Virtual Disk

With the development of information and network technology and the popularization of their applications, people are more and more dependent on information system. The secure file system is the precondition of ensuring information security, which is generally realized by encryption technology.The research of this dissertation focuses on constructing a secure file system based on the technology of applied cryptography and virtual disk.Firstly, this dissertation discusses situation and problems of current security of file system. In addition, this part analyses the advantages and disadvantages of main storage security system at home and aboard.Secondly, this dissertation briefly introduces the foundational knowledge of cryptography, discusses several essential theory, issues of many other related important security technologies, including the relevant technology of symmetric cryptosystem, IEEE P1619 standards, and so on.Thirdly, with the applications of the LibTomCrypt cryptography library and the Visual C++ IDE, this dissertation constructs the secure cryptographic file system. In addition, introduces function design in details, gives the source codes of relevant interface functions and base algorithm.Finally, within the practical applications of the cryptographic file system, this dissertation test and compare several main encryption algorithms, in addition, makes a conclusion.As the increasing security consciousness, various technologies about security are released. Being the key technology of information security, encryption technology is getting more and more popular. The application of the encryption technology is no longer limited in the fields of military affairs, political affairs and foreign affairs. Its commercial values and social values have been fully affirmed. Thus, the further research on encryption technology of file system is very important and valuable, and it has a wide prospect.
