With the rapid development of the cloud computing, the security of user’s private data has become the focus of public attention. Encryption is a simple and effective method to avoid illegal access to personal sensitive data. But if traditional encrypt algorithm is adapted, the sever providers firstly have to decrypt before data was processing. And it will enable the users’plaintext to be exposed to the cloud computing service providers fully. Homomorphic encryption algorithm can process the cipher text without decryption. On the one hand, it could eliminate the complicated step of. decryption and operate the cipher text with addition and multiplication directly, while maintaining the order of the plaintext. So the processing efficiency is greatly improved. On the other hand, it ensures the security of cloud data. But homomorhic encryption algorithm today is complicated and inefficient, and cannot be directly applied to the retrieval for cipher text.In the situation that severs cannot be trusted, it can greatly improve the efficiency and ensure data privacy that retrieving the data encrypted by homomorphic algorithm.According to the security of cloud storage, a retrieval method based on a homomorphic encryption algorithm which supports the retrieval for cipher text, was proposed. Finally a secure cloud storage platform based on homomorphic algorithm was designed and implemented. This platform not only can ensure the safety and privacy of users’ data, but also can achieve the retrieval for cipher text. In addition, this platform is convenient to use for users and can promote the application of cloud storage widespreadly.
