Because of the large amount of targets in future battlefield, the contradiction between plentiful of targets being fired and the limited amount of weapon equipments, ammunitions and time will be enlarged. To win action time, artillery commander urgently needs to make proper operational decisions by policy-making support which provides the aid of the Artillery Command Automation System. Therefore, this topic has become an important study.On context of informative local war under high-tech circumstance, this thesis takes artillery firepower as its object. Combining with the present situation of the army solid operational training, it constructs firepower optimization subsystem which is based on Multi-Information Acquisition Technology in the Artillery Command Automation System, and it does some exploration for the development from Artillery Command Automation System to intelligent direction. The thesis first theoretically analyzes and raises the concept about "Artillery Firepower Optimization"; then it elaborates the theory basis that the concept needs; it establishes the model of the analysis on goal value by the fuzzy multi-objective decision-making optimization; it establishes the most advantageous firepower assignment model and ammunition expenditure model by uniform distribution method; it establishes firepower demand model and force conversion model by the theory of artillery fire; also it designs and realizes artillery firepower optimizing model system.Although the research on the artillery fire optimization is still primary, it utilizes the computer technology to realize the computation for the analysis on artillery target value, the most advantageous fire assignment, the ammunition expenditure, the firepower demand and the force conversion computation. In accordance with the principle of firepower attack that is about "Fire he who is important, Use he who is effective", the commander could make correct operational decisions to win action time for battle. The research result has certain usability and feasibility, which also has certain help to push forward the construction for Artillery Command Automation System.
