Study On The Compilation Of Shaanxi Highway Information Basic Data Elements Set

After years of construction, highway informationization work in Shaanxi province has achieved the preliminary result. However, the problem of the information isolation, nonstandard data format, and low data utilization commonly exist, which seriously restrict the progress of informationization. Based on the in-depth analysis of the application situation of traffic information technology at home and abroad and the construction requirements of data elements in Shaanxi Highway industry, the compilation principle, the classification and the coding method, the extraction method, and the updating mechanism of Shaanxi highway information basic data elements set are thoroughly studied in the thesis.First of all, the compilation general rules of Shaanxi highway information basic data elements set are studies in the thesis. It gives the construction foundation, the normative references, the scope of application and the compilation principle of Shaanxi highway information basic data elements set. On the basis of the summary of existing data element classification method, the thesis puts forward and sets up a 2D-classifying method based on the business area and management level for Shaanxi highway information basic data elements. This thesis focuses on the research of classifying method for data element based on management level and business area, provides the data element 2D-classifying view. The thesis also makes a detailed introduction to data element extraction method. Integrated with actual conditions of Shaanxi Highway informationization construction and management of the actual situation, the methods of business process analysis and direct extraction on the basis of the existing information system are adopted to extract data element. At the same time, considering the features of highway construction, maintains and management in Shaanxi, the thesis uses the user view analytic method to carry on the extraction to the partial data elements. In the end, the updating mechanism of data element is studied in this paper. The thesis analyzes the update requirements of data element, and given the steps to update data elements, then introduces briefly protection mechanism for data element updating.The research results in this paper have been applied in transportation information resource conformity project in Shaanxi, and the data element standard will be promoted the application in highway profession of the entire province. The applicaton shows that Shaanxi highway information basic data elements set have the vital significance in eliminating the information isolated island, improving data utilization ratio, and realizing unified and standardized traffic industry information management.
