Chlorine saline soil is a kind of special soil which is sensible to environment in new coastal region in Tianjin. Its engineering characteristics are various due to the water and thermal environment. It is different from the non-salt-soil because it contains more salt than the latter one. Under the influence of water and temperature phase and number of changes will occur to the salt in soil. Hence the saline soil in this area will have problems in expansion, dissolve falling characteristic, corrosion, frost boiling, moisture absorption and softening,and secondary salinization. It will directly influence the normal use of road subgrade if we adopt no treatment measures.The paper proposed that with the cement, the lime + cement solidifies the Tianjin Binhai newly developed area chlorine saline soil, taking into account comprehensively including moisture, salinity and temperature coordinated solidification influence on chlorine saline soil. Uses the full water of unfined compressive strength test, the boundary salt content experiment, the CBR experiment, the snapping back module experiment, the water stability test, the thaw-freeze cycle test, warm and shrink experimental, salty bulge experiment, the scanning electron microscope,the X-ray diffraction and so on, carrying the contrast and the analysis on different allocated proportion solidification chlorine saline soil mechanics performance, the road with the performance, the microscopic analysis, the economic evaluation. Proposed the relation between the boundary salt content analysis solidification chlorine saline soil intensity and the salt content; proposed the freezing and thawing stable number of times, the anti-frozen stability coefficient appraisal solidification saline soil frost resistance and so on. The result indicated: the effect that the cement solidifies the Tianjin Binhai newly developed area chlorine saline soil to do for the roadbed padding is bad; the lime 6%+ cement 4% solidify the Tianjin Binhai newly developed area chlorine saline soil to do for the roadbed padding various aspects overall performance is superior.The research results of this paper can be popularized and applied directly in disposing high grade road subgrade and disease contral in Binhai bay and similar area. Meanwhile it will provide technical reference to highway foundation of other saline soil area.
