| According to the application of the current international main low-level light sight for airman, especially to the performance of AN/AVS-9 fitted largely in USA's air force, the necessity and the urgency to develop and generalize low-level light sight for airman in our country are presented.With comparative design, we presented the basal thought of development of airman's low-level light sight in our country, and completed a feasible project, now the prototype is already accomplished, and generalized in all kinds of airplanes in the air force.This design used the inland new high-performance super-Ⅱgeneration image intensifier and current international advanced optical aspheric technique according as overseas mature technique standards and airborne environment, and selected some new materials, to attain high capability-price ratio and make the overall performance of the product equivalent to AN/AVS-9 system equipped in American army.In system design, we considered well the characteristic of our active airplanes and airman, attached importance to man-machine environment and engineering, to more accord with our airmen. In consideration of the using environments of high speed, high mobility, big overcharge of battle plane, we designed with high dependability, dependable mechanical performance, stable optical performance, and electromagnetic compatible with equipped airplane type.
