In Ground Application System for Remote Sensing Satellites, the most important procedure is the Image Data Processing System. The Image Data Processing System is based on the Remote-Sensing Satellite Ground Station. Its major assignment is to timely receive the ground information which is observed by the Remote sensing satellite within the acceptable spectrum of satellite going through the Ground receiving station, to acquire the useful Image Information by Processing and removing any aberrant influences, and to transform them into the visual products, provide to varies of users by Product distribution system .This thesis is based on the practically applicative project of CASC, in the accordance of Software features of ground application system for remote sensing satellites and Software Engineering, accomplished the design and implementation of two Closely-linked Modules--Receive and Replay Main Control(RRMC) module in the Image Data Processing System and Scene Catalog (SCA) module. RRMC is in charge of Task-flow control, allocation of resources and the report of the outcome. While SCA is in charge of Logical scenes catalog to the level zero data of satellite, generates the browse image files and thumbnails in the mean time for the convenience of follow-up archiving and querying。This thesis elaborated the functions and Performance requirements of the modules, full accounted the scalability, Robustness and Reusability needed by the satellite application Software. The design implemented the modules meeting the needs, and has been passed the test and functioned well in the whole system.In conclusion, this thesis analyzed the defects of the design, forecasted the possible variation of the software requirements in the future, and brought forward the improvement methods.
