The Design Of Supervision Unit In Communication Power Supervision System

Communication power supply system supplies DC energy for the equipment in communication network ,it is usually called the heart of the communication system .Communication Power Supervision System usually adopts the third class hierarchical structure which include Supervision center, Supervision station and Supervision unit. It monitor the running status of the communication equipment and raise the alarm when some error or abnormal condition happen. Supervision Unit directly joint the equipment in communication network .It measure the running status of all communication equipment lookup malfunction .control equipment running .answer the command from supervision station. So the performance of supervision unit will influence the management quality of Communication Power Supervision System. It is valuable to designed a supervision unit which have stable performance and flexible management.In this thesis,the design of the hardware circuit choose AT89S52 of Atmel Corporation as its CPU,PCF8563 to provide accurate time , precision AD7740 to design the date measure module,AT24C512 to store the configured system date and alarm information , CAN BUS to control the rectifier and the VRLA battery's charging and discharging management,choose rs485 or modem to communicate with the supervision station. The sofeware of supervision unit is devide into seven sofeware module .They are date measure module, alarm dealing module,battery management module,background communication module,rectifier communication module ,self-check module. they are executed by means of timeslice in turn. The sofeware and hardware cooperate to accomplish the supervision unit's function.System test shows the supervision unit have higher performance in reliability ,stability and more flexible management; At the same time ,It also proved the charging and discharging management of Supervision Unit can ensure the battery's life-span .
