Wireless Monitoring For Gas Concentration

As a mode of communication, the Power Line Communication makes use of the power distribution network as corresponding medium. In order to achieve the methane detection , and facilitate the management at the same time, we need to change the traditional way of monitoring. By thinking over the merit of convenience, economy and strong anti-interference ability of power line spread-spectrum communication, this paper apply the application of power line spread-spectrum communication to monitor and control the mine security.Power line is designed to transmit electrical energy and is not specially used for communication, so using it as communication channel brings many technical problems. This paper analyses the king of power line communication and introduce the theory and characteristics of spread spectrum communication. I also constitute the modes of the system of spread spectrum communication.The paper describe the design of methane sensor with sound alarm, leading functions of this system include data acquisition of methane thickness, the control of alarm zero-drift. The chip of carrier communication which we choose is PL3105, the major work is for completing the design of software and hardware. The hardware includes main circuit, power amplifier circuit, receiver circuit, coupling circuit and the designing of alarm circuit etc. In the aspect of software programming, the major work is the definition of carrier communication protocol of PL3105,and then designing the launch and receive program for the interrupt of carrier, and developing the communication software between modules.Finally,testing the hardware and the reliability of the carrier communication modules, and with the conclusions, improving the design of software and hardware of the power line carrier communication, and describing the communication process between GPRS module and the computer.
