The Design And Implementation Of The Telecommunication Network Management Active Monitor System

Operation Support System is a necessary platform for the development and operation of telecommunication business, and an important part of telecommunication network management. It contains all the systems for operating and monitoring network. It is one of the most important stratagems of telecommunication operation company to use OSS technology properly and build a mature and flexible Operation Support System to share information.Nowadays, the maintenance function of Network management System is almost intact. It has the abilities of data configuration, alarm monitor, and performance analysis of professional network. But, it is lack of the ability of the relation analysis between alarm and performance, and it has been noticed by telecommunication operation companies.The foundation of platform of comprehensive information makes the real time monitor and alarm possible. The platform of comprehensive information is a data analysis framework centered with KPI engine which can be totally configured. It is based on systems like telephone network management system, transport management system, data network management system, and it doesn't need to save huge amount of primitive data of network management system. Users can configure their own extractive rules, dimensions, analysis models to make up levels of key performance indicators. So we can use the platform to connect Key performance indicators with alarm monitor, find singularity of the network, locate network elements, then realize active monitor. The article analyses the technology, chooses J2EE platform, designs and implements the active monitor system based on today's network systems. The system has two main parts: one is the display and searching of the key performance indicators, the other is active alarm monitor. According to the design and targets of the item, putting forward the overall design , including UML, function structure, frame design and database design. At the end of the paper, the development orientation of this system is brought out.
