The data collection of railway signal computer monitoring system is a very important traffic facility which is to ensure the safety of traffic, to detect the hidden danger and to monitor the use quality of railway signal device. The data collection of railway signal computer monitoring system has integrated with the new modern technology,sensors,field bus,computer network communications,database and software engineering, and it can provide the scientific basis for the electricity departments to master the current state of equipment and analyze the accident by monitoring and recording the major running station of signal device. The data collection of railway signal computer monitoring system is a very important part of the railway equipment modernization.This paper will choose different performance MCU for data collection by different data signals such as Atmel's At89s52-and-C8051F046 MCU. The data will be amended and transmitted to the VxWorks real-time operating system, which based on the company's core ARM board AT91RM9200 by field bus of RS485 or CAN. Because of the many great characters of the embedded operating system Vxworks such as multi-tasking, Seize scheduling, it can collect much different types of data from the different bus at the first time, and it can quickly send them to the PC by network according to the TCP / IP protocol in accordance with the PC for data collection requirements. The users can know many kinds of data absolutely by the PC interface, and they can get a better grasp of the station of entire railway signal equipment by operating the PC.
