Pulse diagnosis is an important method in traditional Chinese medicine, by which can obtain health status of the human organs. Due to the complexity of pulse condition theory, the standard of diagnose is vague and has many subjective factors. Therefore, the study of objectifying pulse diagnose has great significance. The human pulse signal monitoring and storage system in this paper can monitor and save the pulse waves objectively. Therefore this system can provide important references for objective study of pulse diagnosis.Based on SOPC (System on a Programmable Chip), the human pulse signal monitoring and storage system is designed in this paper consists of hardware, SOPC and software platform. The hardware platform is composed by pulse signal acquisition circuit, SOPC system circuit and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design. The function of pulse signal acquisition circuit is to amplify signal, adjust baseline and AD convertion. SOPC system is composed by FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), SDRAM, Flash, SD/MMC Card, LCD, and so on. Finally the hardware platform is assembled into printed circuit board. SOPC platform includes Nios II CPU and some outer modules. In software platform we design the device driver programs, application programs, and transplantμC/OS-II to manage the system task. At the same time, GUI (Graphics User Interface) and FAT32 are transplanted in this system as the Graphics User Interface and File System. The process of system debug indicates that the hardware and software have achieved prospective target. In this system, SOPC system is running normally, and pulse signal can be collected correctly and clearly. Every task can operate stably inμC/OS-II operating system. Finally, we have realized some functions for human pulse signal including monitoring, acquisition, storage and sending.
