Design And Realization Of Embeded Remote Monitoring System Based On ARM9

Remote video and image surveillance system is a systematic project, which is based on the maintenance of social public security and prevention of disasters and accidents. In banking, intelligent community and large shopping malls, the system has been extensively. In this paper, the video and picture are transmitted to the remote PC machines and smart phones based on TCP/IP network transmission. To some extent, it could improve the image data transmission speed and reduce error rate, increasing the value of remote monitoring system. The goal of designing the system is home monitoring. At any time, you could view the home of the patient or the lives of young and old state.This article is divided into seven chapters, the first chapter introduces the background and the development of video monitoring system. The second chapter describes the characteristics of embedded system and its hardware and software components. Chapter III tells of the program design of the remote monitoring system, including selection of embedded hardware processor and construction of software development platform. Chapter IV, Chapters V and VI is the core of this article. Various function modules of capturing video streaming are introduced in chapter IV, including video capture, video codec, network communications, video/image display and video storage module design. In the fifth chapter, it introduces the choice of embedded web server and the specific methods to build the server, at the same time, introduces the CGI technology and data stream processing. In Chapter VI, it introduces the design and realization of smart-phone J2ME client software, also paints a client and server communication mechanism.Finally, after the implementation of the system, I run the system testing to verify the video and image data transmission.
