Analysis And Design Of The Integration Scheme Of Campus Information Systems Based On PORTAL

Currently, the integration of campus information system is the common problem that the campus informationization construction is facing. The problem of "Information Island", left behind by the campus informationization construction, makes the contradictions between the lack of information sharing and the increase in requirements which the users give to integration of campus information increasing. And in the existing systems, in order to obtain the desired data and information, a user has to move back and forth in several subsystems to find useful information for their own, which makes work efficiency greatly affected.So, for resolving these problems, this paper provides a new solution to integrate the campus information system, and analyses the advanced points, including the way of integration, the structure of integration, the design of the campus portal, and completes program design of the single sign-on and personalized support.This paper describes following parts:1. Summarize what is campus information systems, introduces research background, the development and the current problems of the campus information systems;2. Study and discuss the integration scheme of campus information system. Study the meaning of integration, analyses the three types of the enterprise's information system integration scheme (that is, data integration, portal technology and application integration) and its applicable scope, and make clear that the portal technology is the first choice of the way to integrate the campus information systems with some special characters.3. Study the portal technology and the related technical specifications (JSR 168 and WSRP), and do a technical comparison of the popular development platform (including commercial portal and open source portal) applied in the portal construction.4. Complete an overall design of the structure of campus information system integration scheme and its internal details, including: analyze the common way of integrating web resources and the problem in it, make a design based on portlet and WSRP for campus portal integration; analyze the functions needed to achieve, confirm four functions module (that is, interface integration, user information integration, content integration and process integration); make an in-depth study on the solution of single sign-on;5. According to the design completed, with liferay portal, structure projects platform and realized the key functions.At present, the design of campus information systems integration, which is provided in this paper based on portal, is made against the initial requests of integrating campus information systems. With the development of integrating campus information system, the portal technology combined with the data integration and application integration will play an important role in the construction of the campus informationization.
