Design And Implementation Of Campus Information Portal Based On Portlet Technology

With the development of information technology, more and more schools and the education department pay more attention on the digital campus construction; the construction of the campus portal has become the focus of the indispensable in digital campus. The designer designed the framework and layout on the traditional campus portal website, once the design is completed, it is not easy to change the information, choice the resources again, integration or replace, It will bring a lot of trouble in changing the layout and code. In order to realize the flexible management, personalization and high experience campus, this paper proposes a campus information portal based on Portlet technology solutions, study campus portal technologies related to the development in the Jetspeed framework, design and implementation of a digital campus portal system with resource reasonable use, low cost, high efficiency. The results of this study as follows:(1) In-depth study of campus information portal frame structure, according to the specific requirements of digital campus portal structure, comparing advantages and disadvantages of existing framework, design and realize the campus portal architecture.(2) Utilizing the structural and functional characteristics of Portal, improve the layout of the information in the portal page; realize the dynamic campus portal of flexible management.(3) Using personalized settings and management of Portlet technology under the framework of Jetspeed, through the XML tag files, the Portlet of the campus information will be improved, and become strengthen and perfect, realizing the application of Portlet with freely adding, modify, integration in the campus information portal.(4) Improving the application of Portlet communication mechanism of campus portal based on Ajax technology, reducing response time, saving the time of interaction with Portlet server, application of dynamic refresh, improve the user experience.(5) The design and implementation of a campus portal application system based on Portlet technology, improving the design of the original campus portal, and the user experience, enhance the personalized operation of user, the system runs well.
