Research And Implementation Of Digital Resources Integration And Search Service Platform

With the rapid development of Internet and information technology, various types of digital resources came out. These digital resources located in different regions and each of them has a mass of information. In order to make full use of these resources, quickly and accurately obtaining the necessary knowledge from the sea of information had become the key factor of digital library research.This paper put forward the Distributed Search Service which can integrate different types of digital resources with XML data structure by researching and analysising on various types of digital resources. Then this paper discussed the design and structure of Distributed Search Service, key technologies, as well as the mechanism and data flow of each functional module in details. This service showed good performance in both server pressure and response speed. It also optimized resources management and became the base of Digital Resources Integration and Search Service Platform.Digital Resources Integration and Search Service Platform had been designed based on the concept of service-oriented which integrated Ajax-Buffer search service, visualized resource management service, central certification service according to CAS protocal, as well as the personalization service and so on. It brought convenient experience to users and administrators. Finally, the paper summed up the advantages and disadvantages of the platform and made the prospect on practical use.
