| Since the opening up 30years ago, China has gradually shortened its distance with the world; especially after entering the WTO, market competition has become increasingly intense. Under this new situation, engineering construction as the infrastructure construction of social development demonstrates its prominence. As construction unit, "open, fair, just and honest" attitude should be taken for engineering construction. However, many problems existed in reality have directly impacted engineering construction. For example, the administrative interference, regional protection and negligence of bidding control and management are inevitable elements of irregularities. To norm performances, it is necessary to realize on-line engineering construction trading. Practice has proven that on-line construction trading can not only speed up trading process and guarantee better quality but also provides better legal protection for trader partners, which in turn will lay a solid basis for the smooth execution of engineering construction.Engineering construction management system is a trading platform based on the internet with adoption of advanced database management technology and computer web technology. Its main functions lie as follows: it enables (1) to see live the status of the engineering construction project; (2) to see the whole process of the on-line engineering construction; (3) internal control of the engineering by the engineering responsible department. This construction system mainly includes engineering information management sub-system, engineering project management sub-system and comprehensive office automation system.The successful development of the engineering construction system regularizes the flow of engineering construction; mean while it also intensifies management control of engineering construction, enabling proof check of every piece of engineering and guaranteeing legal rights of both sides of the construction. |
