| Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a new technology of radio frequency communication which is realized through non-contact operation of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC). Comparing with Passive RFID systems, the Active RFID system has longer reading distance and fasters speed, etc. Nowadays, it has become a hot spot in RFID products.This dissertation studies the Active RFID system from the application point of view, gives a design and implementation of an Active RFID system. The dissertation firstly presents the background and basic principle of RFID technology, and studies some key technologies for the Active RFID system; then detailedly describes the hardware structure of the Active Tag and Reader, designs and implements the extended board for Reader; focuses on the design and implementation of the software structure of the Active Tag and Reader, develops firmware for the MSP430 microcontroller and Linux device driver for CC1100, ports Embedded Linux system, ports SPI driver and Socket CAN, develops the application software.After debugging and testing, the system is proved worked well, it can be good reading within the communication range, and has Tag location ability. |
