Simple Network Pressure Measurement Method Based On The Package Series With Intervals And Single Testing Source And Its Framework Research And Implementation

With quick development of modern information technology, the structure of current internet is so complex and different that it is hard to find a way to include them all. The future internet structure is becoming global and with no center exchanging, at the same time, the businesses and applications on it are also becoming plentiful such as Video, Audio, picture and internet game, with manydata transferring way like p2p, stream media and Voip. So the Internet has become the very important part of people's life and be becoming more. Studying the network performance to understand the characteristics, we can have a effective way to control and preview the businesses and applications operated on it, that make us to know the bottleneck and fix the relative problems. Because in most of situation, to know the exact information and characteristics of certain network is quit hard work, people must use some kinds of network testing tools to get assist to arrest problems and ameliorate the performance.Network testing is complying with certain method and tech, using the network characteristics and current protocols running on it, and using the software or hardware to compose an platform or framework to test and confirm the indexes that give an standard to qualitatively analyze network. In this paper, we firstly define a new mathematics model for network pressure, based on this model a simple network pressure measurement method and a pressure index are given, then analysis its error distribution and give the direction how to choose parameters for testing using this measurement method. Then network simulation is be used to verify the correctness and usefulness of this method, from the result of simulation, I find the first definition of pressure index has some bad features that can not be used in applications but some statistics coming from the former pressure index can give enough information to describe the whole network pressure index, then I define the second pressure index. Because of the simplification of this method and only using one source to finish the measurement, the pressure measurement become easy and cheap without other devices' cooperation, and the whole process is very quick. Beside things above, In accordance with this method, we also bring up one flexible framework which can be used to improve the accuracy with keeping on upgrading algorithm in different components of this framework. At last showing is a real application that using this pressure testing method and other single source testing of network.
