Semiconductor laser power which is one of the most important components of semiconductor laser bean with its wide application in various fields in industry has been attracting more and more attention. Such kind digital laser power develops with many advantages such as being more flexible, stable, and controlling available remotely in comparisons with traditional analog devices, consequently replacing them in the long run.A novel system design comprising digital control, super current supply, low ripple coefficient, and high stability is proposed in this paper after detailed investigation in special requirement in industrial application. Some principles used in this design consist of switch mode power supply, digital PID control and anti-interference and advanced DSP works as the core controller.According to principles of digital device design the framework of this power supply system is addressed, in which the current circuit and software design are explained as well as protecting circuit, controlling circuit and other assistant circuit. DSP control and some kind of computing software are also stated. In such a particular design MATLAB as a pretty useful simulating tools do great favor in parameter setting when achieving the best digital PID control. Electromagnetic compatibility is another important issue when the digital system is being developed. Effective anti-interference technology of circuit design and software regulating shows good performance in our implement system. In the last part of this paper the diagrams give the parameter setting of ripple and control precision which demonstrate the volatility of feasibility and reliability of this proposed system.
