The Insurance Product Analyzing System Based On Data Mining Technique

Along with the fast development of insurance industry in China, the competition between the insurance companies gets more and more severe. How to develop the attractive insurance product comes to the key during the competition. But the product development is not easy task which need completed market research and evaluation, exact actuarial analysis, rigorous risk control and restricted by all relative law. While the completed market research and evaluation as the first stage is most the ascertained one, but data mining technique could be the good solution.Data mining can catch the interested information for user in the mass data by merged with the data warehouse. This article introduces the theory, scheme, and some common algorithms, criterions of data mining. It will use data mining intergraded into the current insurance business system, to develop one product analyzing system which could match the development of the insurance company and advance competition.The product analyzing system is a data analysis system based on the data mining technique, and intergraded the data warehouse technique and several visualization tools, its basic objective is: support the management layer to analyze business status and make business objective , help the product developer to analyze the inferiors and superiors of product and develop the competitive new product, increase the comprehension of product for sales man and extend business pattern. We confirmed functional requirements and non-functional requirements of the product analyzing system by the requirement researching. In this foundation, we designed the net structure, logic structure and process flow of the product analyzing system which intergraded the process of data mining and the applied environment in company.After we decided the basic objective and system frame of the product analyzing system, we designed the idiographic contents of system ulteriorly, including the structure of database, the structure and relationship of program classes, the key of carrying out mining task, the coding design of data mining model. We expatiated the design thought and implement way of the product analyzing system, though of introducing the important contents in detail.In order to introduce the functions and advantages of the product analyzing system to reader, the article illustrates some common mining tasks, and explains the process and the mining algorithms to complete those tasks, it grows on the reader's comprehension of the data mining technique by explaining the mining steps and analyzing the mining results.Finally, the article concludes the experience and harvest during designing, developing and using of the product analyzing system. After listing the challenge for the data mining, raises up the future direction of the data mining. It hopes this article could assist to advance the information level of insurance industry.
