The function of abstract concept is discussed first. The function of abstract concept in requirement raising and product design is emphasized. And point out the expression of absiract knowledge is essential to realizing new products inventing by computer. Then the concept description in DM techniques is discussed. And some experiments are made on the modeling and describing of concept knowledge. A sample using concept description to organize transmission knowledge is given. After that the requirements of transmission Design are summarized. A algorithm for mining multilevel and multidimensional association rules is used in mining the table of requirements of transmission and designs of transmission scheme. A FP-tree growth algorithm is given also. Using data classification and prediction techniques to mine the table of designs of transmission scheme and cost of products, a prediction model is found. A scheme of DM archetype system is found based on the deep discussing of DM techniques in aiding of product design in the last chapters.
