With the development of computer technology, communications technology and integrated circuit technology, the traditional industrial control systems began to the development of open and networking. Conforming to the development of the situation with the field bus scene is the field of automatic control and computer network development of the hot spots,which was known as an open, digital, multi-point communications network the bottom of control. ModBus field bus as a technology of effective support distributed control and real-time control, its good stability, high reliability, strong anti-interference capability, high-speed communications, maintenance costs low and its unique design drew more and more people attention, and was recognized as the most promising site of the fieldbus. Therefore,Modbus agreement based on the research and development of the field bus has a very practical significance.In this thesis, Modbus field bus is analyzed systematically and the method of field bus system design is introduced. Based on the analysis of electrolytic of copper production craft, the Modbus field bus control system for the production of electrolytic of copper is designed, which is applied in Jinlong Copper Co., Ltd successfully. The network platform of Modbus combined with ControlNet Fieldbus is applied in the system, which ensures system communication stability and improves the performance of system network.Considering that the craft demands very high control precision on process variables, such as level, flow and temperature, software system based on PID and fuzzy PID algorithm is designed. Monitoring Software RSView SE prepared a screen intuitive, user-friendly interface of the PC monitor, thus allowing the system to monitor the clear staff to accurately grasp the current system of running state and improve the system's monitoring capabilities. To monitor the statements of its own configuration software functions of the entire plant production system statements. At the same time monitoring system to the entire production processes, management and data processing, making the entire plant can be coordinated, unified command.Nearly half a year of operation has proved that system is reliable, good stability, precise control, upgrading capability features, the system work well and meet the requirements of the production site. Modbus Field bus electrolytic copper production control system, is the scene of the field bus system successfully used in the field of process control a typical case.
