Self-made teaching equipment can be used to expand the content of teaching, to improve professional quality of related designers, and also to provide students with a better experimental condition. At present, more and more works have been carried out in this field by different colleges and universities.In view of the above, the assistant teaching equipment is designed based on HART protocol, combined with practical teaching of Automation, Measurement & Control Technology and Instrument.The system integrated with detection (temperature and flow), calculation, display and communication, can meet the multi-parameter measurement.Firstly, considering the survey of development of teaching equipment both home and abroad, the research contents of this theis is demonstrated. In accordance with the design philosophy of teaching equipment, a comprehensive design proposal and ideas is set out.Then the work principle and hardware structure of each module of the equipment are introduced. Moreover, the HART communication protocol is summarized and the software implementation approach of the teaching equipment is introduced in details.By introducing modularized design thinking, the overall system is divided into different modules according to different functions separately and each mudule is designed independently. Moreover, three parts are established, including the temperature-analog converter module, vortex-analog converter module and digital signal processing module. Concretely, the first two modules are designed to recuperate the measured signals into the signals that can be collected by single-chip. The digital signal processing module is used to collect, analyze and calculate the input signals of MCU, and transmits varieties of data acquired to the LCD monitor.Finally, experiments which can be made on the designed equipment are tested and analyzed, which demonstrates that all the scheduled tasks are basically realized.
